How are you all. Thanks for coming over to my blog today. The challenge today at For Fun is a colour challenge, we want you to use: Purple, Green and Gold, yes the Mardi Gras theme!!! At first I was struggling with these colours but why? What a great combo it is and here is what I have come up with:
The fancy shot
I absolutely love this card, so much so that I may even send it to Lily of the Valley to see if they want to show case it on their inspirations site! I made this card especially for a brand new couple to come. DH's brother proposed to his girlfriend on valentines day on top of the Eiffel Tower!!! How romantic is that? Well this card is especially for the lovely couple, wishing them all the best for the future and big day.
Image: Bubble Bath from LOTV. All the DP's are from stash. Ribbon is also from stash, as well as the gold twining. The punch is Martha Stewart ( I used the waste hearts from this punch to decorate the corners with the lovely little hearts), the flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is just a peel off.
Simon Says Stamp: Receipe-(1 image, 2DPs, 3 embellishments-ribbon, angle hair and flowers)
Top Tip Tuesday: #24 Favorites (Promarkers, MS punch and Flowers)
Papertake Weekly: Anything Goes
Stamps & Fun: #36 Carnival (Mardi Gras colour theme)
Wild Orchid Challenge: #18 Anything Goes
Come on guys, let's see you use these great colours.
