DT card for For Fun Challenges: Recipe

Hi guys,

Arghhh what a day!!! I don't know if it is the pregnancy hormones but I am really irritable today. Everything seems to be getting right on my nerves today, the dogs whining, hubby working on a customers car, neighbours asking hubby and I to help find run away pets and put sheds up etc etc.... I want to scream, OK I have at hubby bless him so I thought I better hide out in my craft room before I upset anyone else lol. And guess what, it worked, I've made a card and feel a little less grumpy.

Right enough of that. Today at For Fun we are being sponsored by TLC Creations, gosh they have SO many digis, freebies and all, so so much to choose from. Along with this we are asking you to follow a rather fun recipe, 2 ribbons, 2 DPs, 1 image and 1 sentiment. Easy peasy right? Here is what I came up with:

I used another male LOTV stamp. Isn't he a cutie? Reminds me of my daddy lol reading the paper.

The DPs I used are both from the 'Good life' forever friends pad. Hey just noticed how the sentiment I used ties in so nicely with the name of the papers too :) The sentiment is a freebie from the TLC site. The image as I said is LOTV coloured with promarkers and prismas. Martha Stewart punch and seam binding from Wild Orchid Craft finished the card off nicely. I cut the circles with my cricuit E and the gems are from stash.

So come on over to For Fun and show us what you can do with this inspiring recipe.

Have a fab day, hope mine just gets loads better.

Cutie little boy card

Hia,

Finally it is Friday, yepiiiii..... After a very busy week, I have a very busy weekend ahead of me but then I am off work Monday so short week next week. I have my religious baby shower ceremony this weekend. S lots of time with the family etc which will be nice. The last time we all got together (aunts, uncles, cousins etc) was when my gran passed away last July so it will be nice to get together for happy times this time :)

So my card, well this reflects children in my family. Seems when me and my sisters were young we loved to hide in boxes where we snoozed away and then we asked our parents to drag the box all around the house and garden. Then 2yrs ago I found my neice was doing exactly the SAME thing!!! How suprising is that lol, seems we have inherited a box fetish lol.... So this card brings back some funny memories.

No suprises here but the image was coloured using Promarkers and Prismas. I have never used yellow and grey colour themes before so this is a new one for me but I do like it. The image is LOTV, as is the postcard stamp in the background. The sentiment I made using individual alphabet stamps. DP is Forever friends, ribbon, gems and brads from stash.

If I don't see you at the weekend, have a fab one and I will see you all again soon.

Take care all

Dad... Can you fix this pls?

Hia all,

Thursday right, week is almost over, Yay I hear you say. So far I have managed to post a card everyday this week, how cool is that lol. I love the image I have used today, it will probably be my Daddy's Father's Day card. My dad is a 'never throw, always fix it' guy. Even now I take things back home for him to fix for me lol. He loves keeping busy so is always up to something interesting-Mr Fix it I like to call him. But hey aren't a lot of Dad's like that?

So I coloured the image using Promarker as always and added shading and depth with Prisma pencils. I like the colour them I eventually decided on too, Blue and brown, cute right. The papers are from the linen closet and brads are from stash. I haven't used brads on a card for a long time so it was nice to get them out again. I added a tiny bit of embossing to the corner element. And obviously used a Martha Stewart punch too.

Challenges:

Passion for Promarkers: Colour theme-Blue and brown

C.R.A.F.T: Fathers Day

Crafts and Me: Stamp Something

Creative Inspirations: Card for Man/Man in your life

Fab n Funky: Magnificent Men

Oh before I go, I just want to thank all you lovely people out there who have been visiting my blog and leaving me so much love-Thanks xx Also a big hello and Thank you to my new followers. Once I get to my target number of followers I will be adding some candy so keep an eye out, but please only follow my blog if you like what you see and would like to take inspiration from my work :)

For Fun Challenges DT card - Wedding Card/Gift

Hi All,

Here is my mid week post for you all. Wednesday, this seems to be becoming my favourite day of the week as its getting closer to the weekend lol. I only have 4ish months left of work before I finish for maternity leave so I am doing my best to fit in as much as possible, its hard work man.

So today at For Fun, we are asking you to make a Wedding Card or gift. I have really enjoyed making this card as I have been on a roll with male cards and it was lovely to get all girly, flowery and ebellishy again lol. You know what I mean right? Also, I love weddings so I found making a card for this rather easy. This week we are sponsored by Meljens so I have used the lovely heart from this.

The snazzy pic

I do like the way this has turned out, I am liking the cards I have been coming up with recently. Think the mojo is surly ON lol. So the main image I used is
Little Claire, coloured with Promarkers. The heart is Meljens as I mentioned, also coloured with Promarkers and prisma pencils. The paper is my new stack from My Minds Eye. The flowers and pearls are Wild Orchid Crafts and the seam binding and lace are from my local craft store.

So come on guys, come and make something romantic and share it with us at For Fun. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Challenges:

Sketchy Colours: Red, green and white

One Stop Craft: Texture

Our Creative Corner: Wedding Beauty

The Paper Shelter: Celebrate

Have a great day all.

Fancy a drink or pressie???

Hi guys,

How are you today? I am just fine. I have a card stall coming up so I am on a roll with cards lol. I am away this weekend so I need to spend every spare moment crafting otherwise my stall will be pretty empty lol. I seem to have given a lot away recently but it's time I raised some money again. I give some of my earnings to charity so it's sure a worthy cause right?

Anyway, again today I am sharing with you another male card. Rather a simple one today. I have a huge shortage of male embellishments so I kept this one simple while I rack my brains as to what else I can use. I may just have to buy some tag sentiments as they look pretty cool on male cards right. With Father's Day round the corner there are a lot of male card ideas around so if you struggle like most of us with male cards, take a blog hop around and I'm sure you will see something you like and can take inspiration from.

So here is my card:

The snazzy pic

Yes the image again is LOTV coloured with Promarkers and Prismas. The tag was just hand cut and the sentiment is a stamp I have but can't remember where from, sorry. The punch is Martha Stewart. The papers are from a new stack but again I can't remember what this is as I am writing this blog from my friends house while the lovely cooks for me, bless her. The buttons and ribbon are stash.

Challenges:

CES: Clean and Simple

Paper Sundaes: Let's get sentimental

Craft Your Days Away: Father's Day/Special Man

The Crazy Challenge: Father's Day

Right that is me for today. Have a great day and see you soon.

Footy boy

Hia all,

Happy Monday to you all. How are you? I had a really busy weekend. I had my sister and her boyfriend over which was great fun. Had a BBQ on Saturday and cooked a roast yesterday. The weather was supposed to be amazing but it sure wasn't was it? Rather disappointed I must say. My weekends are just getting busier and busier, I have no idea where the weeks are going at the moment. Before I know it, I am going to be a mum!!! Gosh...

Right today I have another male card to share with you. Yes it is another LOTV stamp, I just love them what can I say.

So this little man was again coloured with Promarkers and then I added my Prismas-these are becoming my next favs when it comes to crafting lol. They just add so much depth I love it. The punch is Martha Stewart, the papers are Forever Friends-Men. The sentiment is also LOTV, the gems are stash.

So am I getting better at these male cards? Let me know as I will be showcasing a good few more over the next week or 2. You never know, you may find an idea you like for your own Male/Father's Day cards. So watch this space.

Challenges:

Lily of the Valley: Punch it Up

Simply Create: All about your dad

Craft your days away: Father's Day/Special Man

Paper Sundaes: Let's get sentimental

Creative Inspirations: Father's Day

The Crazy Challenge: Father's Day

On that note, I shall leave you to it and will be back again soon.

Take care all

A boy card...

Hi Guys,

Happy mid week all. Wednesday is almost over and the rest of the week too, yay! I have been playing around with cards for boys/men these last few days to see if I can improve on them as I really struggle with male cards and need to get better at them. Also I have bought a lot of LOTV boys stamps so need to ensure they look fabby on the cards right lol.

So here is an image I coloured at the LOTV class complete in a card:

The snazzy shot

So what do you think? I must say I think it looks pretty good considering how my other male cards have come up in the past lol. So image is LOTV, coloured with Promarkers and Prismas. DP is from stash as are ribbon and gems. The sentiment is a papermania one from the male collection.

Challenges:

Simon Says Stamp: Fathers Day/Male card

Lexi's Creations: Fathers Day/Man Card

Stamping Scrapping challenge central: Boys, Boys, Boys

Have a fab rest of the week. I better go and do a little cleaning, I have guests coming over tomorrow and a little of the house is not looking its best, yes it is 11pm here in the UK but anyhow, its got to be done right xx

Final GDT post for Papetake Weekly-Sketch

Hi Guys,

Firstly gosh, where has May gone? Is it me or is this year going really really fast? First day back to work after the bank hols, did u all have a good one? I sure did. It was our 2nd Wedding Anniversary, hubby took us away then we did some shopping, eating and chilling. It was a great weekend. I finally managed to get some decent/trendy looking maternity clothes rather than huge looking oldie clothes. I cannot believe how bad the range is in most shops. Just because you are pregnant doesn't mean you cant look good right? OK that's enough of the rant lol. Also hubby got me a white iPhone 4 as my anniversary pressie, yepi-I am thrilled as I have wanted an iPhone for such a long time!!!

Right to the card then, sad news today guys, my final week as GDT for Papertake Weekly :( I have honestly really enjoyed working with the girls, they have been great and the DT work there is just awesome so I am honored to have been asked to join in. So this week I have a fabby little card to share with you. I won't lie, I have put a lot of effort into this as it was my last one for my GDT spot. I really do like how it turned out, even hubby popped his head round and said, 'now that is just WOW, keep it up babes, they just keep getting better.' Isn't he a sweety x Love him x

The snazzy shot

Again this LOTV image (Love grows) was coloured at the LOTV colouring day. The flower arrangements were taken from the card instructions we were given on the day. I used the sketch from our challenge this week at Papertake Weekly, its just great isn't it? I'm sure you can call do a fantastic job with this one, so come on come and join us!!!

So same drill image coloured with Promarkers and Prisma pencils, Flowers are all WOC, Papers are mixture of freebies from the colouring day and then some I had. Martha Stewart punch and seam binding. Oh almost forgot the beautiful stickles lol. Right off to learn more about my phone now. I love gadgets so much......

Slightly delayed For Fun DT Card

Hi all,

Ooopsy daisy, I've been a little slow this week with posting my DT Card for For Fun, whoopsi... I have been so busy with work this week but all is good. So at For Fun this week we are asking you to be proud of your country and to show off your Patriotic colours!!! Being Bristish, I used Blue, Red and white alongside my cute image:

This week we are being sponsored by Digi Doodle Shop. We have a little Minature Dachshund so this image is just perfect for me. I think I will give this to DH as a thanks for being you card. I don't like the way this image coloured up for me, it just bled everywhere, I think its because the image is so tiny :( The DP is stash. The grunge backing is LOTV (I love these addition stamps) and obviously Promarkers to colour and gems from stash. Right I need to make some more cards today so off to the craft room I go.

Have a great evening all xx

Papertake Weekly GDT card-Pretty Pastels

Hi Guys,

How are you this lovely sunny Tuesday? I am good and enjoying the weather. I have had such a busy day today, trying to squeeze in as much work as possible before I get too big to drive around for work. So today I am sharing with you my Pretty Pastels card for Papertake Weekly. As you can see from my Sunday post I coloured this image at the LOTV class. Pretty Rosie Posy-what a cutie right.

The snazzy piccy

So like I mentioned the challenge today at Papertake Weekly is Pretty Pastels, I normally hate pastel colours as I think it all turns out too dull, doesn't photograph well etc. But I love the way this turned out. I tried to keep the DPs lighter than the image so all my hard work colouring pays off lol.

So the image is LOTV coloured with Promarkers and finished with Prisma pencils. The DP is Love letters, flowers and seam binding are WOC and pearls are from stash. Can't wait to see what you come up with this week, I like how this pastel card turned out so I'd love to pick up some new tips from all you out there so show me what you can do.

Right off to do some work now. Got loads to do so better shoot. May even take the dog for a walk, it's such a lovely bright evening it would be a shame not to right.

Have a great evening all

Challenges:

Truly Scrumptious: Anything goes and DT call

Top Tip Tuesday: DT Call

CES Challenge: Embellish It

Stamps & Fun: Flower Power

LOTV Colouring day

Hi guys,

How are you all this windy Sunday? I am good, bump is growing nicely. No card to show you today however as some of you know I attended the LOTV colouring day yesterday along with some other wonderful ladies. It was a fantastic day out, I really enjoyed myself. So I just thought I should give you a little sneak as to what we all got up to:

So we started off by colouring in James the Bear. The colours that we used and the technique were so different to what I would normally do. As always I stuck to Promarkers. Although the class was designed for Copic and Promarker users. I finished him off with some gorgeous stickles. Can't wait to create a Christmas card with him. He was so easy to colour.

Secondly we coloured the boy with Sail. Aren't we all scared of using Reds? Well now that I have a few more reds in my collection, this was so easy to do also. Can you see where the bleeding came in lol. Ooopss. Normally I would have left the sail white or added grey but perhaps coloured the whole sail however look what we did, coloured using brownish shades and only a tiny bit then in came the blender-how cool does that look?

Next was one of my favourite LOTV stamps-Love Grows. Aren't these just darling? Such a versatile stamp. Ok this was a little time consuming to colour but I just love how it came out, I compared it to the one I did a few weeks ago and boy this is so much better. Again I added some stickles.

Finally we had Rosy Posy to colour. I kinda rushed this one as time was running out but again I love the effect. To all the images we added some pencil shading using Prisma pencils, I have never done this before but boy I so will do so now. It just makes the image pop off the paper. Also I learnt I am rather heavy handed with my Promarkers so I need to watch that as this causes bleeding and obviously wastage of ink. Also I learnt the card LOTV sell (super smooth) is actually super, I am sure to move over to this.

So you must be thinking what about the shopping lol. So look what else I got lol, come on I couldn't not hey. I don't think I got carried away at all. Can't wait to make lots of LOTV cards now lol. Right I better go as hubby has just come back home and is starving and the dog won't stop barking lol.

Have a lovely Sunday xxx

GDT For Papertake Weekly-Anything floral

Hi all,

How are you? I have had a very hectic weekend and then busy day. It was my sisters birthday so we had a little party for her. Then mum had a little op so I decided to stay with her to help her out etc-it went really well and she will be recovering quickly. Now I am away for a few days for work so I am sad as I miss hubby and my fur baby so much. I don't know if it's the pregnancy hormones but I want to spend every minute of the day with hubby : ( Right enough of the soppy mushy stuff. Lets get to todays card.

So the challenge today at Papertake Weekly is floral, anything floral is fine, floral DPs, flowers, flowery stamps etc. So I decided to use a stamp I've boxed away a long time ago, it's a hero arts stamp, such a pretty little thing. To add a bit of contrast I decided not to use ink but to stamp the image with Promarkers, lol yes I am that hooked to them. Just kidding, lol.... I love the contrast it gives, almost like watercolours hey?

The snazzy shot

So the card, I embossed some bright pink card with the cuttlebug, added some seam binding (loving this stuff) some gems and flowers and there you are, a really quicky this one. I am really missing being on my other DT which closed down so have applied for a couple recently, lets hope I get one hey xx

TC everyone x I will be back next week now as I am away from home for a few days. Oh it's the LOTV colouring day next Saturday, I will let you know all we got up to, I am really really excited and looking forward to it.

We also have a fab sponsor this week, Soft Pencil. I love their images they are so simple and easy to colour but super cute.

So here is another card I made with DHs cousins at the weekend. They loved this image and chose all the papers etc to go with it, I did the cutting and gluing down.

The snazzy shot

Image was coloured with Promarkers, ribbon, gems, flowers and angle hair from stash. DP is Forever Friends.

Have a great Wednesday everyone, see you again soon.

GDT Papertake Weekly - Fancy a Punch...

Hi Guys,

Happy Tuesday. I know the weekend was a little while ago now, but did you have a good one? I sure did, I had DHs little cousins over Sat and Sun, they are 8 and 10. Gosh we had so much fun but I as they left I realised how exhausted I was lol. The dog was also flat out bless him. And we made 4 cards in total together. One of them is displayed today and another will be displayed tomorrow, they sealed up the other 2 before I could even take a pic. I think we did a great job together, what do you think?

This card is my GDT card for Papertake Weekly, this week we are asking you to get all punchy, get out those lovely punches you all own and die cuts etc and show us what you can do with them. Sorry my pics are dark but the weather has been a little dull.

I will be honest, I started this card end of March for my For Fun DT (Christmas theme) but I never completed it, so with the girls over I thought hey why not, lets finish this off and get them to help out too. OK my craft room is a mess but we had fun.

So the image is Wild Rose Studio coloured with Promarkers, the DP is Papermania, the punch is Martha Stewart and the rest is cut using my Cricut Exp-one to add to my Christmas draw ready for the festive season. With the baby due in Nov I am sure I will be behind this Christmas so I am going to try and make as many Christmas cards as I can before I have less time on my hands.

Hope you all have a great day.

Sorry, long time since I posted, I'm sorry.... But here is why and GDT for Papertake Weekly

Hi guys,

How are you all? I am really sorry I have been a poor blogger recently. My last post was AGES ago. Well I haven't just been bumping, I have been rather poorly. Firstly it was a tummy bug, then some allergic reaction, then asthma, then a cold/flu (in this weather I know!) and then..... I found out I am PREGNANT!!!!!! This was a complete shock to me and my hubby but after the initial shock (well for me, hubby was delighted from the first moment), I am pleased to say I am feeling really excited!!! This will be our first little one and we are really looking forward to it. We had our 12 week scan almost 2 weeks ago and the baby is doing fine. I am so pleased as the doctors were struggling to get me better without harming the baby, but all seems to be OK. Anyway, I could go on forever about the pregnancy but this is a crafting blog so lets get to what I have been up to shall we?

So having not been able to craft for what seems like forever, I was asked to be a GDT for lovely Dawn at Papertake Weekly. I helped Dawn out back in Dec and she asked if I could help again for the month of May. Seeing as I am feeling better I thought, heck why not? Let's get straight back into it right. Here I go waffling again lol, it's obvious I've been away isn't it? I can't stop lol.

So the challenge at Papertake Weekly today is Anything Goes by Lili of the Valley with an added option to use something round. Well you know me, I love LOTV so what better way to return right? I was a little worried the card wouldn't turn out right as I haven't crafted for ages but I am pleased with it.

So, it's our 2nd wedding anniversary 29th May, so I decided to make a card for hubby. This stamp is just perfect for us at the moment, it's called 'Love Grows' by LOTV, seeing as we have a little life growing in me at the moment and it being gardening time here in the UK, I just thought this stamp would be perfect for our anniversary. I have had it a while but never inked it up. The image is coloured with Promarkers, the flowers, corner embellishment and seam binding are all from Wild Orchid Crafts. The punch is MS and the round stamp is also LOTV. Oh, almost forgot the DPs are 'Love Letters' by Trimcraft.

So guys, pray that I stay well and hopefully from now on I will be back to me usual crafty self. I am totally behind with my DT work so I better go and catch up. Speak to you all soon.

Challenges:

Die Cut Dreams: #88 Wedding (Wedding anniversary card for hubby)

Ladybug Crafts ink: #26 Going Dotty

Top Tip Tuesday: #32 Open Challenge

Stamp with Fun: #109 Lace or Ribbon

Stamp & Fun: #45 Hearts

Teddy Stampers DT-Embossing

Hi Guys,

Happy Friday all!!! Finally the end of the week right? Gosh and what a week it has been. This is my first full weekend home since Christmas!!!! Yes I know crazy right. I don't have anything planned other than crafting lol. I am so behind on my DT projects at the moment, I love to make my cards in advance but at the moment it's a little last minute. Anyways, the rush is over, back to reality now.

So today at Teddy Stampers we want to see embossing and yes lots of it too. Dry embossing like what I have done or wet embossing or both. I must admit, my first attempt at this card was using wet embossing around all the edges but I only have gold and silver embossing powder and they just didn't really go with my all out bright springy colours so I ditched that attempt and decided to distress the edges instead and then add a little ink to exaggerate the distressing. But look I didn't forget the embossing lol. I used my favourite D'vine swirls embossing folder, don't you just love this folder?

The fancy shot

The image is a wild rose studio teddy, coloured with my Promarkers. Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, lace from stash, DP is My minds eye 'Spring Papers' and the butterfly punch is EK success I think.

Challenges:

Charisma Cardz: #11 To Die for

Flutter By Wednesday: #146 Sketch

Creative Stamp Friends: #20 Lace

Right guys, I have a few exciting projects coming up in the next few weeks so do pop back. For now however come and join us at Teddy Stampers and show us your embossing.

Have a fab Friday everyone.

Hugs,

For Fun Challenges DT card - Your Choice

Hi Guys,

How are you all? Today I am sharing my For Fun DT card. Today the challenge is pretty simple, either a monochromatic card using green or celebrate St Patricks Day, Your choice. What will you choose? I chose the monochromatic option and for this I chose to make a male card. This card is for my Father in Law who recently turned 50!

This card was so simple to put together, I just hand cut the tie shape, cut the Marianne designs flourish using my cuttlebug, DP is Papermania, some gems, hand written sentiment and voila here we go. Oh sorry I forgot, I also embossed the tie then filled the dots to give a slightly different green shade. So quick and simple when there is no image to colour hey lol. I must say I did miss my stamps on this one :(

Right off I go, see you all soon.

For Fun DT Card - Anything Spring

Hi All,
How are we doing this beautiful sunny day? Isn't Spring just round the corner now? YAY!!!! And I think my card and the For Fun theme (Anything Spring) this week showcases just this perfectly hey...

I just love the DP on this, it is the Forever Friends for Men DP, and the polka dot one is Papermania Christmas pack. As we are being sponsored by Sweet and Sassy we were given this cutey image to work with, this has been coloured with my beloved Promarkers. The flowers are Papermania and WOC, gems are also Papermania. I added some gorgeous lace and then ran the circle through the dvine swirls embossing folder.

Sorry guys this is short and sweet today as I have a lot going on at the moment and need to sleep before I fall asleep at the wheel tomorrow, scary I know but I am incredibly tired at the moment. Lets just say the bright days are cheering me up.

Teddy Stampers DT Card - Sketch

Hi All,
Happy Friday guys, yay, it's the end of the week and tonight is my work's gala dinner. I am rather looking forward to it as my region is looking very positive for Region of the Year award. Wish me luck as this would be just what we need after all the hard work we all put in, especially my manager. She is the most motivated and hard working person I have ever met in my life, she just doesn't stop. She is just great in every way, wish I was half as good as her.
Anyways, to my card now. This fortnight at Teddy Stampers we are asking you to follow a sketch. I think it is rather a jazzy sketch, I sure had fun working with it, now let's see what you can come up with. Here is my take on the sketch:

Ingredients:
All the DPs are Love Letters by Trim Craft. I love these papers they are just fantastic, I don't think there is even one sheet in the pad which I don't like, how rare is that right? The image is forever friends-coloured with Promarkers, the gorgeous lace with organza is from a local haberdashery store, the flower is Wild Orchid and the butterfly punch I can't remember who makes that sorry.
Have a great weekend guys.

For Fun DT Card - Sketch

Hi All,
How are you this Wednesday morning? I am trying to be healthy at the moment, me and the hubby want to try and loose some weight but all we can think about at the moment is chocolate lol, why does that happen, you try to be good and then suddenly these crazy cravings come along, arghhhh....
Anyways, today at For Fun we have a sketch for you to follow. It's so simple so please do come along and have a go, I'm sure you'll do a better job than me lol. Yes yet again I am not that pleased with this card. This is a card for my Father in law who will be 50 on Saturday, we are having a suprise party for him on Friday, yepi. I think I start to panic when I make male cards, why? I find it so annoying as I cannot add my beloved flowers and bling :( hubby thinks it is great so we'll stick with this. I need to make 2 more male cards this week, any ideas? Any help or inspiration would be greatly appreciated.

This card was really simple to put together, I cut the scalloped card with the Cricut, added some pearl drops to the scallops, cut a circle using the Cricut and ran this through the cuttlebug using the Happy Birthday embossing folder. I then cut the 50 using the Cricut too, added a little gold and blue ribbon. Oh and some buttons as it was hugely lacking embellishments lol.

What do you think?

See you all soon guys x TC x

For Fun DT Card - Hearts

Hi All,
Another scheduled post for you today. The challenge at For Fun this week is to celebrate Valentines so we want to see lots of 'HEARTS' please. We are being sponsored by Bonibleaux Designs-great images for Men can be found here. I have used the Putt Putt Hearts digi which I just love. The car image a Wild Rose Studio stamp. This card will be mny hubbies Valentines card. He has 2 loves in his life, obviously me (well I should bloody hope so lol) and CARS!!! This card it completely perfect for him because he has had his new car in the garage now for around 6-9months ish having lots of work done. He has gone for a cream top and metalic red bottom, so I coloured the car to match and used this as my colour theme too. He can't wait to get this baby back but once it is home I will probably not see him much, yay, more crafting time for me lol.

The image was coloured with Promarkers, I embossed cream card stock then rubbed red ink over it, the sentiment is part of a Wild Rose Studio sentiment. The dotty DP is Papermania.
Right all for now as I am still trying to post some other cards for while I am away.
Have a fab day all and don't forget to join in the fun at For Fun this week.

Teddy Stampers DT Card - Valentines Bear

Hi all,

How are you all doing today? I have had to schedule this post as when you read this I will be in Madrid 'enjoying' my annual work conference lol. Don't get me wrong the conference is amazing, so many of our suppliers come to showcase their products but we NEVER sleep, we work hard all day and then party hard all night to early morning, in the room for a shower and then work again lol. And these antics go on for 4 days! Welcome to the world of sales they say. I love it really but I will need to hibernate for a few days when I return lol.

Today at Teddy Stampers we are asking you to get all romantic lol, show us your Valentines Bear, yay.... I love Valentines day, my hubby pampers me loads all day bless him lol, to be honest he is a sweetie most of the time lol.

Here is my sweet Valentines Bear, bringing you loads of red roses:

Fancy shot

This is the first time I have used lace on my cards, I think I will be using loads more, it adds such a soft, romantic feel to the card. The image is sweet Toby with flowers from Wild Rose Studio, those of you who love teddies like me, must visit Wild Rose Studio, Dulcie has some really cute Teddy stamps. Toby was coloured using Promarkers. The papers are Papermania and DCWV-Spring Stash. The lace is from my local haberdashery store, the gems are stash, the sentiment is also Wild Rose Studio. The roses are Wild Orchid Crafts. The fancy scalloped circle and heart were cut on my Cricut Expression. I added glitter to the edges of these.

Hope you can come and join us at Teddy Stampers, we are being sponsored by Stampin' Dragon.

For Fun DT Card - Ground Hog Day

Hi everyone,
How are you all this lovely day? I have scheduled today's post and will be for the next week and half as I am off to Madrid today, yay!!! It's a work conference and then the hubby, my sister and her boyfriend are coming out there so we can have a few days holiday too. I am really looking forward to it. Due to this my next few posts will be short and sweet, hope that's OK.
Today I want to share my For Fun DT card. I am so proud to share this as we are being sponsored by Little Scraps of Heaven and our DT were lucky enough to have 2 images made especially just for us at For Fun!!! How great is that? This week the challenge is 'Ground Hog's Day' - I'm sure my fellow Americans and Canadians will know exactly what this is but like me some of you are probably think huh? Well this is a holiday celebrated in America and Canada on 2nd Feb. According to folklore if a ground hog appears today and it is a cloudy day it signifies winter will end soon, if he appears and it is a sunny day and he sees his shadow this means winter will continue for 6 weeks. Although I don't want winter to continue I noticed many of my fellow DT's went for the spring image so I thought I should display the winter image instead lol.
So here is what I came up with:

The fancy shot

I love my BOW lol, I have been struggling with bows for so long that I just sat in front of the TV for days practising and I think I am getting there now, yay!!! The image was coloured with Promarkers, I added lots of glitter to show off the snow, The flowers are Papermania and Wild Orchid, punch is MS, flourish is Marianne designs, the DPs are Papermania and Forever Friends. I think that's everything lol.

Right I'm off to schedule some more posts now for while I am off.
TC everyone, thanks for all your continued love and support!
